June 15, 2021Periodontal disease is one of the most common health concerns amongst our fur babies. Plaque contains bacteria that can infect gum tissue and the roots of the teeth resulting in disease and tooth loss. The bacteria can enter the blood stream through large blood vessels located near the gums and teeth. This bacteria travels to the organs with the highest blood flow: the lungs, heart, kidneys, brain, and liver causing infections that can shorten your pet’s life.
This cleaning method is a perfect choice using today’s technology to maintain your pet’s dental health.
First, we Consult: We examine the pet’s teeth and mouth to identify any health concerns. We personalize each service to match their age and behavior. We are also checking to see if your pet is the right candidate for this procedure.
Procedure: We first remove the plaque and calculus on the surface of the pet’s teeth. Then, we clean all the bacteria under the gumline and finish with a polish, wipe, and rinse.
We provide you with before and after pictures.
This service is done by a Highly trained and qualified technician to perform Non-Anesthetic Dental Cleanings, in addition they are also Pet First Aid and CPR certified.
